DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN AND VETERINARY CLINICAL ANALYSIS

• Performs human clinical analysis and veterinary clinical analysis at our Central Laboratory in Lisbon. Biological samples proceeding from laboratories (human clinical analysis) and from veterinary clinics (veterinary clinical analysis) spread all over Portugal and Spain, are carefully transported in good conditions and suitable temperature and are analyzed at our Central Laboratory in Lisbon.
• Offers a Q&A information system to elucidate the clinical meaning of the results for tests required.
• Provides explanatory technical statements for clinical analysis results.
• Contributes toward professional formation, in particular during the pre- and post-analytical steps.
• Edits a divulging publication focused in new and updates to existent clinical analysis for certain pathologies.
• Makes statistical studies on the iberic reality concerning normal values and occurrence taxes of certain pathologies, comparing them with regional and international databases.

NOTE: We have the capacity to collect samples coming from 2000 laboratories (hospitals, clinics and laboratories of human pathology) and 1000 veterinary clinics, spread all over Portugal and Spain. We concentrate all the analysis in the only one laboratory in Lisbon.

• Tests the quality of waters and foods at our Central Laboratory in Lisbon. Samples proceeding from agro-alimentary companies spread all over Portugal and Spain, are carefully transported in good conditions and suitable temperature and are analyzed at our Central Laboratory in Lisbon.
• Offers a Q&A information system to elucidate the meaning of the results for tests required.
